We're partnering with a highly regarded, complex professional services organisation looking to hire a commercially minded Insight Manager to help shape and drive a more connected, insight led approach across the business.
This is a genuinely holistic insights role, combining primary research (roughly 50/50 quant & qual), secondary research, competitor intelligence and client listening to support strategic decision-making at senior level. The role would suit someone who enjoys joining the dots across multiple insight sources and translating research into clear commercial action. The hiring manager is particularly keen to find someone who can own and evolve the broader insight strategy, not just deliver projects in isolation.
Key areas of focus include:
- Large scale quantitative and qualitative research programmes
- Brand tracking, segmentation and client listening initiatives
- Market and competitor intelligence
- Synthesising insight into strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders
- Driving a more joined up, insight led culture across the organisation
- Managing external research partners and suppliers
- Line management and development of 1 direct report
We're open on sector background, but candidates are likely to come from regulated or complex environments or an agency that works with clients in:
- Professional Services
- Legal
- Financial Services
- Pharma / Healthcare
- Insurance or other highly regulated sectors
The ideal profile will bring a blend of agency and client side experience, alongside strong stakeholder management skills and a hands-on approach to both quant and qual research delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with execution and wants to play a visible role in shaping how insight supports growth, client experience and commercial decision-making.
