We are seeking a dedicated Food Production Mixer Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for mixing ingredients accurately and efficiently to ensure high-quality food products. This role requires adherence to food safety standards and involves operating mixing equipment within a fast-paced production environment. The ideal applicant will have a keen eye for detail, mechanical aptitude, and a solid understanding of food safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor various mixing machinery to produce consistent food batches in accordance with production schedules.
- Measure and weigh ingredients precisely using basic maths skills to ensure recipe accuracy.
- Maintain strict adherence to HACCP guidelines and other food safety regulations throughout the production process.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment, perform minor mechanical adjustments, and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Record production data accurately, including batch numbers, ingredient quantities, and process times.
- Follow cleaning schedules to ensure all equipment and work areas meet hygiene standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting operational issues with mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Participate in ongoing training programmes related to food safety and production techniques.
Experience
- Prior experience in food production or manufacturing environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of HACCP standards and food safety procedures is advantageous.
