We are currently recruiting for an experienced Weekend Production Supervisor to join a busy and fast-paced production environment in Corby. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on supervisor who enjoys leading people, supporting daily operations, and ensuring production targets are achieved safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, capable of motivating a small team while maintaining high standards across the production area.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a small production team during weekend operations.
- Ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved.
- Monitor workflow and allocate resources effectively.
- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure adherence to health and safety procedures.
- Support team members with training, guidance, and day-to-day operational issues.
- Carry out quality checks and ensure company standards are met.
- Operate Reach or Counterbalance trucks when required.
- Communicate effectively with management and provide updates on production performance.
- Assist with problem-solving and respond quickly to operational challenges.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Production Supervisor, Team Leader, Warehouse Supervisor, or similar role is essential.
- Valid Reach Truck or Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy production environment.
- A proactive approach with the ability to think on your feet and make decisions confidently.
- Hands-on attitude and willingness to support the team where needed.
