ECHO Personnel is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Service Centre Technician to join our client's busy team in Kettering. Our client is a leading provider of tools, diagnostics, and professional equipment solutions, delivering high-quality service and support to their customers through a dedicated Service Centre.

THIS IS A PERMANENT ROLE

Shift: 08:00 - 16:30

Salary: £27,936 per year

Contract: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Disassemble, diagnose, and repair tools to high-quality standards
  • Maintain accurate repair records and log all parts used
  • Test repairs and adapt to new models, tasks, or training
  • Collaborate with colleagues and communicate professionally with customers
  • Support continuous improvement and departmental process development
  • Work safely, keep workspace organised, and follow Health & Safety guidelines
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in repair or assembly of electronics or mechanical equipment
  • Ability to work safely and independently in a fast-paced environment
  • IT literate, with experience using ERP systems or digital job cards
  • Strong collaboration skills to ensure team efficiency and SOP improvements
  • Fluent in English with professional communication skills
  • Ability to meet daily targets in a rapid repair/assembly environment
