ECHO Personnel is recruiting a Multi Skilled Production Operative (Warehouse) for a well-established food manufacturing business based in Corby. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced warehouse and production professionals to join a reputable organisation, offering a permanent position within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role is ideal for candidates with FLT experience who are looking for a stable long-term career with excellent earning potential.
Salary: Starting salary: £34,706 per annum. After successful probation: £40,830 per annum.
Working Hours: 42 hours average per week. Panama shift pattern: 06:00-18:00 / 18:00-06:00, covering 7 days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support daily manufacturing and warehouse operations.
- Load, unload, move, and store materials using a forklift truck (FLT).
- Complete production tasks in line with company procedures and quality standards.
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety requirements are followed.
- Carry out checks to maintain product quality and minimise waste.
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
- Work closely with team members to achieve production targets and support continuous improvement.
- Complete all required documentation accurately.
Requirements:
- Valid FLT licence (essential).
- Previous warehouse experience (essential).
- Good standard of IT skills (essential) (Microsoft packages, emails and in-house stock systems).
- Able and motivated to lift loads up to 25kg (essential).
- Good understanding of health & safety and workplace procedures.
- Ability to work a rotating Panama shift pattern.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently.
- Pivot Steer FLT licence (desirable).
- PPT licence (desirable).
- Previous food production / food manufacturing experience (desirable).
