Echo Personnel is recruiting for an experienced
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
to join a busy FMCG manufacturing site in Corby. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with previous maintenance experience to join an established operation, playing a key role in keeping production running efficiently and minimising downtime. Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across production machinery and equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimise production downtime.
Troubleshoot breakdowns and identify root causes to prevent recurring issues.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve machinery reliability and performance.
Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with site procedures.
Work closely with production teams to maintain smooth and efficient operations.
Requirements
Previous experience in a maintenance engineering role is essential.
Multi-skilled mechanical and electrical maintenance experience.
Experience working within a manufacturing or FMCG environment is highly desirable.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A good understanding of health and safety procedures.
Shift Pattern
The role operates on a rotating shift pattern of
2 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off , with two weeks working days followed by two weeks working nights. Holiday is 20 days. Pension is 3% employer Free EAP service to all our employees Apply Now
