Echo Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a valued client for an experienced IATF Qualified Quality Assistant to join their established quality assurance team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking manufacturing business where quality is a top priority. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high standards, supporting compliance, and driving continuous improvement across production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of IATF 16949 standards across manufacturing operations
- Assist in developing, reviewing, and enforcing quality procedures and documentation
- Carry out inspections and internal audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements
- Analyse quality data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues efficiently
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes
- Support HACCP programmes, ensuring critical control points are effectively monitored where applicable
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records to support internal and external audits
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in a quality role with strong knowledge of IATF 16949
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data clearly
- Working knowledge of HACCP principles within a manufacturing environment
- High level of attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Effective communication skills with the ability to liaise across departments
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
