ECHO Personnel is seeking a reliable Fork Lift Counterbalance Driver to join our client's dynamic team in Corby. The client is a leading provider of sustainable packaging solutions for various sectors, including food and industrial markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries and moving products around the warehouse and production areas
- Ensuring materials and finished products are stored correctly and safely
- Supporting production and warehouse teams with the movement of stock and pallets
- Carrying out daily forklift checks and reporting any issues
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Assisting with other general warehouse duties as required
- Driving the FLT on the road to another company yard, approximately 150 metres away, to refill with gas
Requirements:
- Valid counterbalance forklift licence/certificate
- Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift is essential
- Valid car driving licence essential, as the successful candidate will be required to drive the FLT on the road to another company yard, approximately 150 metres away, to refill with gas
- Good awareness of health and safety procedures
- Physically fit and able to lift and move products and pallets
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Strong team-player mentality and positive attitude
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is preferred
Shift: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:00
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour
