ECHO Personnel is recruiting a Screen Printer for one of our clients based in Corby. Our client is a well-established company specialising in garment decoration and printing, producing high-quality ready-to-press designs used by clothing brands and print shops with heat press application.
As a Screen Printer, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining screen printing equipment to produce detailed transfer designs to a high standard. You'll play a key role in the production process, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality across all printed materials used in garment decoration.
THIS IS A PERMANENT ROLE!Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up screens for printing in line with job specifications
- Mix inks accurately to achieve correct colours and consistency
- Operate manual and/or automatic screen printing machines
- Print designs onto transfer sheets used for heat press application
- Ensure correct registration and alignment of multi-colour prints
- Carry out regular quality checks throughout the production process
- Identify and resolve basic print defects or production issues
- Clean, maintain, and reclaim screens and equipment after use
- Follow production schedules to meet deadlines and output targets
- Maintain high standards of health and safety in the workplace
Requirements:
- Previous experience in screen printing or textile print production preferred
- Good attention to detail and strong focus on quality
- Ability to follow instructions and technical print specifications
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Basic understanding of colour matching and print processes
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to learn and develop technical print skills if required
Hours: 6:00am - 2:00pm or 2:00pm - 10:00pm, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £25,000 per year
