ECHO Personnel is seeking a skilled and reliable Assembly Operative to join our client's busy manufacturing team in Corby. Our client is a well-established manufacturer of conveyor and material handling equipment, supplying high-quality mechanical solutions to distribution and logistics operations across the UK and internationally.

As an Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for assembling small and lightweight components using hand and power tools while ensuring products are built to exact specifications and quality standards. You'll work from a seated or standing workstation as part of a friendly and supportive team.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assembling components accurately using hand tools and power tools
  • Following technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions
  • Carrying out quality inspections to ensure all products meet required standards
  • Identifying visual defects and reporting faults or equipment issues promptly
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working area
  • Working efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Completing repetitive tasks with accuracy and attention to detail

  • Reading Technical Diagrams: Following blueprints, schematic drawings

Pay rate: £13.00/h

Working Hours:

  • Monday-Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30
  • Friday: 07:30 - 12:30
