We are looking for practical, hands-on individuals who take pride in their workmanship and can produce high-quality work to specification.
The Role
As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of carpentry and woodworking tasks, interpreting technical drawings and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
Your duties will include:
- Carrying out general carpentry and woodworking duties.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Measuring, cutting and preparing materials accurately.
- Assembling and fitting wooden components.
- Using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Checking finished work to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Working to production deadlines and required specifications.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
- Working effectively as part of a skilled team.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a carpentry or woodworking role.
- Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Experienced in using hand and power tools.
- Good practical skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, hardworking and committed to producing quality work.
- Own transport or access to a vehicle is essential due to the location.
