ECHO Personnel is seeking 2 reliable Production Operatives to join our client’s established team in Wellingborough. Our client is a leading specialist in sustainable recycling solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient running of the recycling process
  • Load and unload materials using a counterbalance forklift
  • Support all areas of the production operation, including machine support, quality sampling, and general housekeeping
  • Complete visual safety checks of equipment before operation
  • Monitor machinery performance and report any issues to the Production Team Leader
  • Identify, weigh, and record recycled materials and waste streams accurately
  • Complete production paperwork and record weights on documentation and bulk bags
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation across the site
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency
  • Work flexibly across different production areas as required

Requirements

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is essential
  • Previous experience working in a production, manufacturing, or recycling environment (1–2 years preferred)
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple areas of the production process
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards
  • Excellent time‑keeping and attendance record
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and under pressure
  • Flexible approach to working rotating day and night shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a strong willingness to contribute as part of a team

Shifts

4 on 4 off Days & Nights Rotation: 05:45 – 18:00, 17:45 – 06:00 (Including weekends and bank holidays)

Pay Rate

£14.89 per hour (increasing to £15.34 per hour after 12 weeks)
