ECHO Personnel is recruiting a Sales Development Representative to join our growing team, primarily based in Corby. We are an established recruitment agency supplying temporary and permanent staffing solutions across industrial, logistics, and commercial sectors. This is a great opportunity for a driven, confident individual who enjoys winning new business, building relationships, and working in a fast-paced sales environment.

You will focus on generating new clients, developing long‑term partnerships, and creating recruitment opportunities across Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough, and surrounding areas. As a Sales Development Representative, you will identify and contact potential clients, promote our services, arrange meetings, and convert prospects into active customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify new business opportunities across Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough, and surrounding areas
  • Generate leads through research, networking, and outbound sales activity
  • Make high-volume cold calls to prospective clients
  • Book and attend client meetings to discuss staffing needs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Promote temporary and permanent recruitment services
  • Understand client requirements and offer tailored solutions
  • Follow up quotes, proposals, and sales opportunities
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and activity logs
  • Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure service delivery
Requirements
  • Experience in sales and/or business development
  • Confident telephone manner with strong cold calling ability
  • Target-driven, self‑motivated, and commercially minded
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Organised with ability to manage workload independently
  • Resilient and comfortable working to targets
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • Own transport required

Hours: Monday to Friday 9 to 5

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Generous bonus / commission scheme based on performance
