We are recruiting an experienced Installation Electrician for a well-established industrial electrical engineering company based in Rushden. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated electrician to join a reputable business with over 40 years’ experience, offering a permanent position within a stable industrial and commercial installation environment.

Salary: £34,000 – £42,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out industrial electrical installations across a range of customer sites including recycling, printing, farming, and processing plants
  • Install electrical supplies, lighting systems, distribution boards, and MCCB panels (up to 2000 amp systems)
  • Work on control panels and emergency stop systems
  • Support electrical maintenance and EICR testing requirements when needed
  • Work both independently and as part of a team on installation projects
  • Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer service on all sites
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations and standards

Requirements

  • Experience in industrial electrical installation work
  • 18th Edition City & Guilds qualification (essential)
  • NVQ Level 3 / AM2 or equivalent (essential)
  • ECS or CSCS card (essential)
  • 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification (preferred/essential depending on client requirement)
  • Ability to work at height
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong customer‑facing and communication skills
  • Ability to complete jobs from start to finish to a high standard
