The Role
As an Experienced Die‑Cutter Operator, you'll play a key role in delivering high‑quality products while ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate automatic die‑cutting machinery safely and efficiently.
- Carry out daily machine safety and pre‑start checks in line with health and safety procedures.
- Read and interpret job specifications, technical drawings, and production schedules.
- Load raw materials and monitor machine performance throughout production.
- Achieve production targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Record production output, waste, downtime, and any operational issues accurately.
- Carry out routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Ensure products meet strict quality standards and customer expectations.
- Minimise waste while maximising machine efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Support colleagues through machine rotation and provide cover where required.
- Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet delivery deadlines.
- Demonstrate flexibility to support business needs and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties requested by management.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Proven experience operating automatic die‑cutting machinery.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and job instructions.
- Excellent problem‑solving and fault‑finding skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills with a positive, flexible attitude.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
Desirable
- Experience operating Bobst or similar die‑cutting equipment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing health and safety regulations.

Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am–4:30pm (30‑minute break)
- Friday: 7:30am–2:00pm (30‑minute break)
Enjoy an early finish every Friday, helping you make the most of your weekend.
Holiday Entitlement
24 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays. 19 days are taken during planned company shutdowns. The remaining 5 days can be booked throughout the year, subject to business requirements.
