We are looking for Food Production Operatives for one of our clients based in Corby – a well‑established food production company specialising in high‑volume pastry manufacturing. As a Food Production Operative, you’ll be working in a fast‑paced production environment, supporting the smooth running of daily operations. This is a hands‑on role involving packing, assisting in production, palletising, and general food handling duties. The role is physically demanding, so candidates must be fit and prepared for an active shift in a temperature‑controlled environment of approximately 12°C.
Key Responsibilities- Pack products efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Assist in production processes, ensuring smooth workflow
- Palletise finished goods and prepare them for dispatch
- Handle raw materials and ingredients safely
- Follow health and safety and food hygiene procedures at all times
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area
- Ideally some experience in food production or warehouse work (but not essential)
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast‑paced environment
- Looking for a long‑term opportunity with potential for a permanent role
