ECHO Personnel is hiring an FLT Counterbalance Driver for one of our clients based in Corby. Our client is a well-established leader in the plastic recycling and packaging manufacturing industry. As an FLT Counterbalance Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials across the site, supporting production operations and maintaining high standards of workplace safety.
Shift: PANAMA Shift – 6am to 6pm / 6pm to 6am, 3 on 2 off. Full rota provided in advance.
Pay: £14.12 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently
- Load and unload goods from vehicles and storage areas
- Move raw materials and finished products across the site
- Ensure all loads are secure and handled in line with safety procedures
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any faults or maintenance needs
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Work closely with production and warehouse teams to support operations
Requirements
- Valid and up-to-date Counterbalance FLT licence
- Previous experience in a similar role within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Strong awareness of health & safety practices
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts
