Job Title: Customer Service and Collections Agents
Location: Belfast – Remote working
Job Type: 1 Permanent and 3 Fixed Term with the potential of permanency
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday rotational shifts between 8am and 6pm, with Rotational Saturday 9am – 1pm)
Salary: OTE £27,500 comprising basic salary £24,492 with a potential quarterly bonus of up to £765 depending upon performance and quality.

The Role:
This is a remote role and for the first 4 weeks, you are expected to attend Full Time training at our Belfast office. After the initial training period, your role will be primarily working from home with a requirement to come into the Belfast office twice a month.
A key member of the Credit Management team responsible for dealing with customer’s billing queries and collecting commercial debt for business customers on behalf of Northern Ireland Water. Our Collections Agents combine inbound and outbound calls to engage our customers to secure payment or where appropriate agree payment plans for those in genuine hardship.
Using a combination of telephony and correspondence, Billing and Collections Agents are responsible for processing and resolving accounts at all recovery stages.
Billing and Collections Agents are front-line debt management roles and are critical in ensuring that all cash targets are met in a timely and cost-effective manner. This is a role where there are opportunities to develop your skills in areas such as Litigation, Key Accounts and Aged debt management.

- Experience of using IT systems and packages including Microsoft Applications
- Customer Service experience to include call centre, retail, hospitality or sales roles
