The Role

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Administrator to manage and optimise our Salesforce platform, ensuring seamless operation and alignment with business needs. This role involves system configuration, security management, data integrity, and process automation, alongside testing and defect resolution. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Salesforce administration, configuration, and deployment tools such as Gearset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day administration of the Salesforce platform, including user license management, security settings, and permission management.
  • Implementing configuration changes, such as custom objects, fields, flows, and page layout updates.
  • Managing Salesforce Org instances, including sandbox refreshes, backups, managed package installations, and archiving.
  • Overseeing testing activities related to configuration changes, managed packages, and defect resolution.
  • Ensuring defects are reported, categorized, and prioritised based on severity and business impact.
  • Managing the release process for fixes and updates while maintaining system stability.
  • Deploying changes using Gearset or similar tools to ensure version control and efficient release management.

What You’ll Need

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in Salesforce administration and configuration.
  • Strong understanding of security models, access controls, and user management within Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce tools such as Gearset, Data Loader, and automation (flows, process builder, etc.).
  • Knowledge of testing strategies, defect management, and deployment methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to optimize workflows.
  • Salesforce certifications (such as Salesforce Certified Administrator) are highly desirable.
