Echo Northern Ireland Ltd is seeking a Customer Liaison Officer (Field Based Customer Service) to join our Field Services Department. This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of Β£27,698, including a work van and fuel card.

Location: Northern Ireland Region - Field based, starting and finishing from home.

About the role: This primarily customer-facing role involves travelling to visit premises within the NI Water territory to discuss and resolve issues related to debtor disputes, occupancy, data, and potential lost revenue streams. The role covers various work streams, including metering inspections and testing of water supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Structure workloads to optimise coverage and ensure effective and timely visits.
  • Prioritise visits in accordance with associated KPI/SLAs while liaising closely with the Field Services Management Team.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, dealing with the public in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Manage workloads to achieve pre-agreed targets and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Current UK driving license.
  • Experience in field-based inspection or customer service roles.
  • Effective communication skills and strong organisational abilities.
  • Experience using IT systems, including Microsoft Applications.
  • Experience in a customer/client-focused environment (preferably face-to-face).
  • Ability to build effective relationships and establish rapport quickly.
  • Experience in the Utilities sector (Water Industry & Metering background preferable).
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

Working Hours: 4 Day Week (Monday to Thursday between the hours of 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM)
