The Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the fleet under Echo studios ltd. This includes both reactive and planned maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in scheduling vehicles. The role requires flexibility, reliability, and a proactive attitude to ensure that all requirements for vehicle booking, deliveries and collections are met to a high standard.
Essential Criteria (Skills & Experience)
Proven experience in logistics, transport coordination, or fleet scheduling
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience planning delivery routes and scheduling vehicle movements
Ability to communicate clearly with drivers, installers, and internal teams
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
Understanding of vehicle compliance (MOT, servicing, safety checks)
Good IT skills, including use of scheduling or logistics systems
Full UK driving licence
Flexibility to work outside standard hours when operationally required
Core Knowledge Base
Working knowledge of transport operations and vehicle fleet management
Understanding of driver requirements and safe operating practices
Familiarity with health & safety processes relating to logistics and transport
Awareness of compliance standards (insurance, vehicle checks, mileage logs, etc.)
Knowledge of basic maintenance processes and how to liaise with service providers
Core Areas of Responsibility
Schedule and book the company fleet for deliveries, collections, and installer use.
Coordinate daily routing to ensure efficient and timely operations
Manage fleet maintenance including service booking, MOT scheduling, and defect reporting
Maintain accurate transport records including logs, booking sheets, and compliance files
Liaise with drivers and installers to ensure they have the correct vehicles and resources
Monitor fleet performance and proactively address issues
Support the Head of Logistics and Facilities in improving transport processes
Main Duties
Plan and allocate vehicles for daily delivery and installation schedules
Book the company vans for routine and reactive maintenance
Conduct basic vehicle checks (where appropriate) and arrange repairs
Keep detailed records of vehicle usage, fuel, mileage, and compliance
Assist in coordinating warehouse collections and returns
Communicate any changes to routes, schedules, or vehicle availability
Support operational teams during busy periods, providing clear and proactive updates
Ensure all fleet-related activities meet internal safety standards
Special Requirements
Full UK driving license required as thismay require a trip down to the mechanics garage with vehicles.
Flexibility in approach and willingness to work unsocial hours if required.
