Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Milton Keynes for a Telecommunications Network Planner / Project Engineer (m/f/d). The role involves planning and designing broadband network infrastructure, including capacity planning, topology design, and optimization of existing networks. The position is responsible for coordinating and managing network deployment projects, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring that project milestones, budgets, and quality standards are met. The role also includes working closely with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to communicate project status, resolve technical issues, and support continuous improvement of network performance and service reliability.
Qualifications
- Strong demand planning and analytical skills to forecast network capacity needs and evaluate network performance data.
- Proficiency in network design, including understanding of broadband technologies, network architecture, and infrastructure planning.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
- Project management skills to plan, coordinate, and deliver telecommunications projects on time and within budget.
- Relevant technical degree or equivalent practical experience in telecommunications, network engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with network planning tools, GIS or mapping software, and industry standards is an advantage.
- Ability to work systematically, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to evolving project requirements.
