Role Overview
We\’re seeking a seasoned VP of Engineering to lead and elevate our engineering function across these products. This executive will manage a team of 20+ engineers, conduct code reviews, and work closely across product teams to deliver high-quality blockchain-first solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and scale an engineering team of 20+ across web, backend, and mobile domains
- Oversee end-to-end technical delivery and architecture across different products
- Conduct technical leadership: code reviews, infrastructure reviews, quality enforcement across stack
- Collaborate deeply with product leadership—ensuring engineering deliverables align with product vision, user needs, and timelines
- Drive architecture discussions with focus on scalability, security, performance, and multi-chain interoperability
- Champion engineering best practices: CI/CD, testing standards, DevOps, and documentation
- Recruit and develop top-tier engineering talent as the portfolio grows
- Foster consistent integration and reuse of common services across products to maximize synergies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in software engineering leadership; at least 5 years managing teams of 20+ engineers
- Demonstrable deep expertise in blockchain/Web3 technologies—e.g., wallets, DeFi, multi-chain protocols, smart contracts, bridging, decentralized infrastructure
- Hands-on experience in code review and technical architecture across multiple technology stacks (frontend, backend, mobile)
- Strong history of cross-functional collaboration, particularly partnering with product teams to deliver complex software systems
- Proven success in scaling engineering organizations, improving velocity, quality, and team culture
- Excellent strategic thinking, effective communication skills, and presence to partner with senior leadership
- Must be able to work Central Europe hours
