We are currently looking for a Cloud Software (IoT) Engineer to join a client of ours on some ongoing projects. The project is due to go on for an initial 3 months, with possible extensions. Being based in the Thames Valley, we are looking for someone that is able to work on site 1 day per week, on a hybrid arrangement.
Requirements:
- IoT systems integration, protocols, and services, gRPC and MQTT
- Cloud architecture and service implementation
- Linux, Python
Desirable additional skills:
- Service deployment, IaC, containers, Docker etc.
- WAN networking and network performance modelling/optimisation
- CI/CD pipelines, GIT version control, scripting, automation
- Experience and interest in space industry
- System modelling, including Matlab/Simulink
- AI/ML, particularly for optimisation
