Echelon Engineers is recruiting a Production Administrator to produce and schedule works orders for bespoke machine builds, coordinating engineering, purchasing, stores, and assembly to keep projects on time and on spec. It’s a hands-on, detail-driven role at the heart of production planning helping the business move from reactive to proactive scheduling.

What You’ll Do

  • Produce and schedule works orders against the master production schedule, working closely with the BOM Engineer, Assembly Foreman, Purchasing, and Operations Manager
  • Keep build plans, milestones, and schedule changes visible to all teams
  • Coordinate Stores and Purchasing so build kits and materials are ready ahead of production weeks
  • Resolve material or scheduling conflicts between Foreman, Stores, and Purchasing
  • Collate weekly fitter hours from Sage for payroll and reporting
  • Prepare production reports and support general admin for the Operations Manager
  • Act as the main point of contact for scheduling queries, escalating issues promptly
