We are working with a client seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with 4+ years of industry experience, particularly in steel fabrications. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) to contribute to impact projects in a dynamic engineering environment.
Responsibilities
- Design steel fabrications and mechanical systems to meet client specifications and industry standards.
- Create 3D models and detailed technical drawings using SolidWorks (or similar CAD software).
- Develop comprehensive manufacturing packs, including material lists and assembly instructions.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and optimized for cost and performance.
- Provide ongoing technical support during the manufacturing process.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of mechanical design experience, with a focus on steel fabrications.
- Proficient in 3D CAD, ideally SolidWorks.
