Maintenance Supervisor

We are recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor to lead day-to-day maintenance across a major process plant in Morocco.

Working a 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off rotation on a 15-month contract, you will coordinate maintenance personnel, contractors and specialist vendors and work closely with Operations to minimise downtime and maximise plant availability.

The Role

  • Supervise daily mechanical, electrical and instrumentation maintenance, prioritised by criticality and operating needs.
  • Coordinate planned, preventive and corrective maintenance in line with the maintenance plan.
  • Drive equipment availability and reliability, leading root-cause investigations on repeat failures.
  • Provide maintenance support through commissioning, first start-up and ramp-up, tracking and closing punch-list items.
  • Establish preventive and predictive maintenance schedules and condition monitoring for critical equipment.
  • Use SAP CMMS to plan and record work, cost and condition.
  • Enforce isolation, lock-out / tag-out and permit-to-work at all times.
  • Manage the critical spares strategy and availability of essential materials.
  • Supervise contractors and specialist vendors, verifying work before return to service.
  • Lead, train and develop a competent maintenance team.
  • What You'll Bring
  • Strong maintenance supervision background in a process, oil and gas or petrochemical plant.
  • Broad mechanical, electrical and instrumentation knowledge across rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, valves, control and safety systems.
  • SAP CMMS experience.
  • Commissioning and start-up experience.
  • Contractor management skills and strong HSE discipline
