Project Engineer

Echelon Engineers are partnering up with a well established manufacturer of process plant and capital equipment is looking to add a Project Engineer to its growing team. This is a hands on, technically focused role suited to an engineer who enjoys seeing projects through from concept to delivery. You will play a key part in the successful execution of engineering projects, working closely with design, manufacturing and production teams to ensure work is delivered to specification, on time and to a high technical standard. Key responsibilities Support the delivery of engineering projects from a technical standpoint Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications Liaise with manufacturing and production teams throughout the build process Ensure projects meet technical, quality and timescale requirements Contribute engineering knowledge and problem solving across live projects What we are looking for A few years' experience in a project or design engineering role (up to around five years) Manufacturing or production experience within an engineering environment Confidence interpreting technical drawings Relevant industry experience is an advantage, though strong transferable experience from a related engineering sector will be considered A proactive, delivery focused approach with strong communication skills What is on offer Competitive salary of £45,000 to £50,000 The opportunity to work on varied, technically interesting projects A supportive team environment with scope to develop JBRP1_UKTJ
