We are seeking a skilled and versatile Roofer & External Maintenance Engineer to carry out roofing work alongside a variety of external maintenance tasks. This role involves roofing repairs and installations, as well as tasks such as installation of rainwater goods, fascia and soffit works, minor groundworks and general external upkeep. The position is local mainly covering Manchester and North West England but will require daily travel up to 3/4 hours total (a company vehicle and fuel card are provided). Overnight stays may be required, with benefits. Weekend and overtime opportunities are available.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Roofing Work: Perform roofing repairs, replacements, and installations with precision. Inspect and identify roof issues, providing effective solutions to ensure structural integrity and weatherproofing. Maintain and repair flat roofs, pitched roofs, and associated structures.
  • External Maintenance Tasks: Install and maintain rainwater goods, including gutters, downpipes, and drainage systems. Carry out fascia and soffit repairs or replacements to ensure a high-quality finish. Perform paving tasks such as laying slabs, minor repairs, and ensuring surfaces are safe and durable. Undertake other general external maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines while working on-site. Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and in safe working condition. Use ladders, scaffolding, and other access equipment responsibly.
