Overview
Gardener – Vacancy
A private estate near Marlborough in Wiltshire seeks two full time gardeners to join a team in helping to create and then maintain the most extraordinary gardens and grounds. The house, gardens and grounds are being renovated and the team will help bring these visions into fruition. Upon completion, the gardens and grounds will cover 135 acres and comprise formal gardens and lawns, a 5 acre walled garden, glasshouses and conservatory with various plant collections, leisure grounds and parkland, all kept to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team to support the Head Gardener in establishing and maintaining the gardens and grounds
- Assist with ongoing renovation projects and ongoing maintenance across 135 acres of formal gardens, walled garden, glasshouses and parkland
- Help ensure high standards of presentation and horticultural care across all areas
Qualifications & Attributes
- Can-do attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Effective communication skills
- Keen eye for detail
- Prepared to work outside in all weathers

Salary
