Job Overview
An Experienced Gardener, preferably RHS qualified or equivalent, required to work full time on an established 7 acre private country garden near Petersfield, Hampshire.
The garden comprises various lawns, a walled garden with a large modern glasshouse, orchard, topiary, herbaceous beds and shrub beds.
There are two one-bed cottages, one of which could be available to the right applicant.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain specialist machinery, including tractor with trailer & front loader, strimmers, blowers and hedge cutters, ensuring all tools remain in excellent condition.
- Manage and maintain the irrigation system.
Qualifications
- Experienced Gardener, preferably RHS qualified or equivalent.
- Practical, physically fit and enthusiastic gardener with excellent plant knowledge, strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for traditional horticulture and productive gardening, proactive approach and a positive can‑do attitude.
