This role is subject to the successful award of a new client contract. Recruitment activity is being undertaken in advance to support rapid mobilisation should the contract be secured. Any appointment will be conditional upon contract award and final client approval.
Key Responsibilities:
- Painting & Decorating
- Tiling
- Minor plumbing/leak detection
- Basic Carpentry
- Water Hygiene tasks
- Replacing door handles / doors
- Keep logbooks up to date
- Unblocking sinks/toilets
- Changing lamps
- Proactively identifying and reporting faults
- Keeping a PDA up to date through our CAFM system and clients
Skills & Qualifications Required:
- A good working knowledge of basic plumbing maintenance.
- A good understanding of tiling and carpentry.
- Must be able to show good handyman skills.
- Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations regarding maintenance activities.
- Full and clean driving licence (vehicle provided).
Personal Qualities:
- Character committed to the delivery of excellent customer service.
- Calm manner and able to work under pressure. Able to make sound decisions when needed.
- A team player, able to work with the team and clients’ representatives at all levels.
- Comfortable working in environments that may include vulnerable people, demonstrating professionalism, discretion, and appropriate conduct at all times.
