Established in 1994, ECG Facilities Services is a leading provider of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) maintenance across the UK. With a strong presence in the commercial, retail and industrial sectors, ECG also delivers specialist services in water hygiene and managed services - operating 24/7, 365 days a year.

We are currently looking to recruit an Air Conditioning Maintenance Engineer to form part of our Mobile team.

  • Design & installation, after care service and maintenance of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
  • Carrying out the service and maintenance of a multitude of equipment including cold rooms, ice machines, VRV & VRF Indoor and Outdoor Units, Heat Recovery Units, leak testing systems etc.
  • Maintenance, repairs and all general Air Conditioning duties, including assisting with mechanical & plumbing works if required on site.
  • Experience in Air Source Heat Pumps would be desirable; additional training can be provided.
  • Ability to assist with electrical PPM tasks including emergency lighting tests and small repairs would be desirable.
  • Knowledge and experience of all air conditioning and electrical plant including Air Handling Units and their associated controls, pumps, heat exchangers, boiler plant (excluding gas side pipe work and accessories).
  • Knowledge and experience of all air conditioning and HVAC installations, including issuing written compliance paperwork.

The Air Conditioning engineer will be working as part of a mobile team. Our client is looking for someone who is flexible, works well as part of a team and is client focussed.

Qualifications:

  • City & Guilds Level 2 (minimum)
  • City & Guilds Level 3 in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning (preferred)
  • F-Gas Certificate (C&G 2079 or CITB J11)
