Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Installation of commercial heating, plumbing and chilled water systems
  • Understanding of the working and operation of plumbing and heating systems
  • Working off own initiative / Running own jobs as part of a small team
  • Experience working on steam systems advantageous but not essential
  • Fitting types worked with – Press fit, Victaulic, Screwed, Brazed, Soldered, Welded, etc
  • Materials: MI Steel, Stainless steel, Galvanised steel, Copper, etc

Skills & Qualifications Required:

  • Proven experience in Plantroom and Boilerhouse installations
  • Welding – Arc & Gas welding

Qualifications:

  • Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
  • Heating & Ventilation Gas qualifications advantageous – Testing & Purging
