Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Installation of commercial heating, plumbing and chilled water systems
- Understanding of the working and operation of plumbing and heating systems
- Working off own initiative / Running own jobs as part of a small team
- Experience working on steam systems advantageous but not essential
- Fitting types worked with – Press fit, Victaulic, Screwed, Brazed, Soldered, Welded, etc
- Materials: MI Steel, Stainless steel, Galvanised steel, Copper, etc
Skills & Qualifications Required:
- Proven experience in Plantroom and Boilerhouse installations
- Welding – Arc & Gas welding
Qualifications:
- Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
- Heating & Ventilation Gas qualifications advantageous – Testing & Purging
