This role is subject to the successful award of a new client contract. Recruitment activity is underway to support rapid mobilisation should the contract be secured. Any appointment will be conditional upon contract award and final client approval.
Key Responsibilities:
- Painting & Decorating
- Tiling
- Minor plumbing/leak detection
- Basic Carpentry
- Water Hygiene tasks
- Replacing door handles / doors
- Keep logbooks up to date
- Unblocking sinks/toilets
- Changing lamps
- Proactively identifying and reporting faults
- Keeping a PDA up to date through our CAFM system and clients
Knowledge & Understanding:
- A good working knowledge of basic plumbing maintenance.
- A good understanding of tiling and carpentry.
- Must be able to show good handyman skills.
- Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations regarding maintenance activities.
- Full and clean driving licence (vehicle provided)
Personal Qualities:
- Character committed to the delivery of excellent customer service.
- To have a calm manner and able to work under pressure.
- Able to make sound decisions when needed.
- A team player, able to work with the team and client’s representatives at all levels.
- Comfortable working in environments that may include vulnerable people, demonstrating professionalism, discretion, and appropriate conduct at all times.
Qualifications:
- Evidence of relevant trade training or maintenance‑related courses
