With a strong presence in the commercial, retail and industrial sectors, ECG also delivers specialist services in water hygiene and managed services – operating 24/7, 365 days a year.
We are looking for a Commercial Gas Engineer with over 5 years’ experience in a similar Gas/Plumbing/HVAC/Maintenance Engineer role. The role involves maintaining general gas and HVAC plant, performing repairs, keeping logbooks, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

- Salary: £38,000.00-£43,000.00 per year (DOE)
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Company supplied vehicle

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- General gas and HVAC plant maintenance
- Maintenance/repairs on general gas kit, unvented hot water cylinders, including mechanical & plumbing on site
- Maintain on-site logbooks, permits & site paperwork, ensuring they are completed and up to date
- Knowledge and experience of all gas plant including commercial gas boilers/water heaters, unvented hot water heaters, plumbing & pipework systems, expansion vessels, pumps etc.
- The call-out rota is on a rotating cycle (roughly 1 in 8 weeks)
Skills & Qualifications Required
- Knowledge of gas systems/plant and over 5 years’ experience in a similar Gas/Plumbing/HVAC/Maintenance Engineer role
- Ideal candidates will come from a Facilities Maintenance background and have worked in a similar environment
- Health and safety awareness
