Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- General HVAC plant maintenance.
- Maintenance, repairs, and replacements of components, including AHU experience, fan coil unit experience, and all general A/C duties, in addition to mechanical and plumbing on site.
- Maintain on‑site log books, permits, and site paperwork, ensuring they are completed and up to date.
- The callout rota is on a rotating cycle (roughly 1 in 8 weeks).
Skills and Qualifications Required
Knowledge and Understanding
- Candidate has knowledge of air conditioning systems and over 5 years’ experience in a similar HVAC/Maintenance Engineer role.
- Knowledge and experience of all A/C equipment including, but not limited to, air handling units and their associated controls, pumps, heat exchangers, boiler plant (excluding gas‑side pipe work and accessories), and BMS control systems.
- Engineer works as part of a mobile team, is flexible, works well as part of a team, and is client‑focused.
Qualifications
- Approved A/C apprenticeship with a minimum full A/C NVQ Level 2 qualification and F‑Gas certification.
