Bell Equine Veterinary Clinic is recruiting an equine internal medicine clinician to join our multidisciplinary team of boarded medics, surgeons and diagnostic imagers. The role is primarily hospital based treating hospitalised and out-patient internal medicine cases, together with external laboratory reporting. Assisting our first opinion ambulatory team with their medicine cases is also expected and attending appropriate cases out of the clinic (external clinics and on yards) is encouraged.

The hospital is well equipped, including radiography, ultrasonography (GE Logiq E10, Vivid IQ (dedicated for cardiology), Vscanners and Logiq E), fan beam CT (Qalibra system, allowing entire body examinations of smaller equids and myelograms), endoscopy, Televet II, slit-lamp, Tonovet, electroacupuncture etc. We collaborate with visiting specialists, e.g. ophthalmology and cardiology (for TVECs).

The role would suit a diploma holder or a board eligible candidate able to work both independently as well as part of a team. The successful applicant would have the opportunity to develop their own particular clinical interests. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a willingness to contribute to private practice life are essential. The position is part time with participation in the out of hours rota.
