Our London studio seeks a motivated Senior Architectural Technologist with extensive technical proficiency across a diverse range of large‑scale residential and mixed‑use projects.

Position

As a Senior Architectural Technologist with ECE, you will have the opportunity to take a pivotal role in the delivery of a wide range of projects, principally within the residential sector.

Your expertise will drive projects from RIBA stage 4 onwards, ensuring the realisation of visionary concepts into tangible, functional spaces in a variety of sectors.

Essential Qualifications

  • Strong technical skills gained on a range of medium to large‑scale projects (experience in residential and mixed use is highly beneficial).
  • Excellent Auto CAD and IT (Microsoft Office) skills.
  • Current working knowledge of Autodesk Revit is essential.
  • An understanding of the current Building Regulations, NHBC/ LABC Warranty Guidance and Associated Housing Standards.
  • Have experience of effectively leading project teams and collaborating with clients, consultants and contractors.
  • Be able to demonstrate an ability to prepare detailed working drawing packages (plans, sections, elevations, schedules and details).
  • Be capable of coordinating a drawing package in conjunction with the other design consultants.
  • Be able to lead with initiative and exceptional communication skills, whilst still allowing for autonomous work.
  • Extensive technical proficiency acquired across a diverse range of projects, preferably encompassing a value of £5m or more.
  • Proven track record in overseeing projects through RIBA Stages 4, 5 and 6, particularly within the residential and commercial sectors.
  • Demonstration of advanced technical detailing abilities, accompanied by an adept understanding of contemporary construction methodologies.

ECE London is a dynamic studio located in the heart of the city, providing a vibrant and collaborative work environment.

The studio is situated near the South Bank with several main‑line railway stations including Waterloo, Blackfriars and London Bridge within walking distance.

Southwark and Borough tube stations are also conveniently situated nearby.

Our London studio is arranged over two floors; the ground floor entrance is accessible from street level without steps.

We provide two accessible mixed‑sex toilet facilities on‑site.
