The ECE Sussex studio is seeking a talented and motivated Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of residential projects and progress in your architectural career within a supportive and progressive practice.
Responsibilities
- Assisting Senior members of the team in the development of design concepts and presentations.
- Conducting research and preparing drawings and models to communicate design ideas effectively.
- Collaborating with consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
- Participating in site visits and construction inspections to gain practical experience.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Essential qualifications and experience
- Have completed your Masters in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Have 1+ year UK practice experience working on medium to large scale residential projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software, such as AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Revit experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Strong conceptual and design skills, with the ability to think creatively and critically.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A keen interest in sustainable design and a desire to contribute to the creation of environmentally conscious buildings.
- A portfolio demonstrating your design abilities and technical skills.
Remuneration & package

Studio
ECE Sussex is a modern, highly sociable studio, just a stone throw from the seafront in West Sussex. The studio is conveniently located within a short walk of Worthing and East Worthing train station and there is free parking within a 15-minute walk. Our Sussex studio is situated on the ground floor and is fully accessible from street level. There are gender-neutral and accessible toilet facilities available on-site.
