Westworks is seeking a talented and motivated Project Architect to join our growing team. This role is ideally suited to an architect with experience running medium to large-scale residential developments. You will play an important role in shaping our schemes from early concept through to planning, working within a collaborative team environment and contributing to the design and delivery of thoughtful, well-considered places.

Position overview
As a Project Architect, you will hold a significant leadership role, guiding major projects and overseeing multiple smaller projects. The role will involve contributing to site appraisals, developing layouts and design strategies, preparing planning & construction information packages and collaborating with clients, consultants and internal teams. You will be supported by a collaborative studio culture that values design quality, knowledge sharing and professional development.
Essential qualifications and experience
- ARB registered Architect
- 5+ years working & running medium to large-scale residential projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software, such as Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong conceptual and design skills, with the ability to think creatively and critically
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
- Knowledge of planning and Building Regulation requirements
Remuneration & package

Westworks is a modern, highly sociable studio, based in Bristol City Centre, conveniently located within a short walk of Bristol Temple Meads train station.
