Westworks is seeking a talented and motivated Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a varied range of projects across multiple sectors and develop your architectural career within a supportive and progressive practice.

Position overview

As a Part 2 Architectural Assistant at Westworks, you will support the design and delivery of projects across multiple sectors. You will gain experience across a range of project stages while working alongside experienced architects and consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting senior members of the team in the development of design concepts and presentations.
  • Preparing drawings, models and visual material to effectively communicate design ideas.
  • Working within Revit to support the development and coordination of project information.
  • Collaborating with consultants, contractors and clients to support the smooth delivery of projects.
  • Participating in site visits and construction inspections to gain practical experience.
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends, regulations and best practice.

Essential qualifications and experience

  • Have completed your Masters in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Have 1+ year of UK practice experience working on architectural projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of Revit within practice is essential.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software, such as AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong conceptual and design skills, with the ability to think creatively and critically.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • A portfolio demonstrating your design abilities and technical skills.

Westworks is a modern, highly sociable studio, based in Bristol City Centre, conveniently located within a short walk of Bristol Temple Meads train station.
