We’re looking for an energetic Assistant Store Manager with a background in customer-focused retail. You’ll bring enthusiasm for creating outstanding customer experiences, driving store performance, and fostering a positive, high-energy atmosphere for both customers and your team. With a strong presence on the shop floor, you will be proactive, lead by example, motivate the team, and support the Store Manager in achieving and exceeding commercial targets.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will partner closely with the Store Manager to deliver strong commercial results. You will support the execution of sales strategies, optimise team performance, and ensure operational excellence. You will use KPIs and reports to drive performance, coach the team, and step up to lead the store in the Store Manager’s absence.

  • Drive sales performance through strong floor leadership, conversion focus, and customer engagement.
  • Support the delivery of store KPIs, including sales, ATV, UPT, and conversion.
  • Coach and develop the team to improve individual and store performance.
  • Support with daily trading routines, including floor moves, task prioritisation, and team briefings.
  • Ensure stock availability, replenishment, and shrink controls support sales opportunities.
  • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and brand presentation.
  • Support all operational processes, including rotas, cash handling, opening/closing, and compliance.
  • Confidently handle customer feedback to protect brand reputation and drive loyalty.

Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or Supervisor in a fast-paced retail environment is required. A proven ability to meet sales targets and drive team performance is essential. You should be confident in problem-solving and supporting day-to-day store operations, with an understanding of visual merchandising and brand presentation standards.
