The Opportunity:

We are looking for a driven and commercially minded sales professional to support the continued growth of the Code 3 business nationwide. Reporting to the Sales Manager for Code 3, this full-time role offers the opportunity to be an integral part of a collaborative and high-performing team, playing a key role in developing and expanding Code 3’s presence across key markets.

In this position, you will manage and develop strong relationships with key accounts and distributor partners, while actively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Acting as a trusted partner to customers, you will build long-term relationships and support their success by promoting and delivering Code 3’s market-leading emergency vehicle warning, lighting, and audible safety solutions to emergency services and specialist fleet customers.

Expectations & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be a proactive and customer-focused sales professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. You will bring a strong commercial mindset, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to drive sustainable growth across multiple brands and sales channels. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing Code 3 customers, consistently delivering compelling value propositions.
  • Owning and managing the sales pipeline, including revenue forecasting and performance tracking, with a clear focus on exceeding sales targets.
  • Monitoring industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to ensure Code 3 maintains a strong and differentiated market position, while identifying new opportunities for profitable growth.
  • Developing and executing strategic account plans that identify opportunities, set clear objectives, and drive tailored growth strategies for each customer.
  • Leading customer negotiations, including pricing discussions and contract renewals.
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure account strategies are aligned with company capabilities and objectives.
  • Representing Code 3 at key customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Ensuring all business activities are fully compliant with relevant UK regulations.
  • Staying up to date with automotive and emergency services industry developments to respond effectively to emerging opportunities.

  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, enabling effective collaboration both internally and externally.
  • A resilient, positive, and professional approach, with the ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and a confident, customer-focused mindset.
  • A full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel regularly, including overnight stays.
  • Experience within the automotive industry is desirable.
