Location: London, UK (office based, Belgravia) / Frequent travel required (US, Brazil, Europe)

Company Overview:

Eccleston Associates manages a portfolio of Private Equity / Private Debt deals and businesses across different geographies (Europe & overseas) and sectors (Healthcare, Sports, Defense). We cover the full investment continuum from deal construction through to post-investment value creation and have sector-specific management teams on each business. We work with leading Private Debt and Private Equity investment funds, multinationals and family offices to fund our projects. We are a diverse team of 10+ professionals with 6+ different nationalities in the London office with many more partners abroad, specialising across strategy, analytics, finance and operations. We are based in premium offices in Belgravia.

The Role:

Eccleston Associates is seeking a senior business-minded professional to support the CEO in managing the existing business portfolio, developing new business opportunities and managing relations with institutional investors. The role combines investor development with senior-level exposure: you will be responsible for identifying and building new investor relationships, maintaining existing ones, and acting as a trusted partner to the CEO in managing, supporting and overviewing the different management teams in the portfolio companies. You will represent the firm externally, contribute to commercial strategy, and support the execution of our capital-raising and business development initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with new institutional investors to support ongoing and future deals
  • Represent the CEO in selected meetings with investors and partners, and act as a sounding board on commercial matters
  • Join the CEO and Senior Partners in key meetings, providing input and ensuring effective follow-up
  • Manage and update the commercial pipeline, including tracking new deal opportunities and investor outreach
  • Actively collaborate with the local top management teams in existing deals
  • Assume a leadership role in specific deals and drive them to success

Qualifications:

  • 10–15 years of experience in a commercial, business development, fundraising, or scale-up environment
  • Proven ability to originate opportunities, drive results, and manage end-to-end commercial processes
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills
  • Confident in selling ideas, representing a company externally, and working with senior stakeholders
  • Comfortable with financial discussions and able to understand and communicate financial concepts
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to operate independently
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and proactive in seeking out opportunities
  • Strong written and oral communication skills (fluent English is essential)
  • London-based, with authorisation to work in the United Kingdom
