About the Role
Ecclesiastical Planning Services, who are proudly part of Benefact Group, are looking for a Marketing Manager – Campaigns to join our Gloucester office. As a Campaigns Marketing Manager, you will lead a team of three Marketing Campaign Specialists, set campaign strategy and prioritise ‘focus firms’, own the associated campaign budgets and drive a continual test and learn approach to improve performance across digital (including social and performance marketing platforms) and offline channels.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop campaign strategy & plans: Partner with Sales to identify priority firms and create tailored, insight‑led campaign calendars aligned to market trends and growth opportunities.
- Own multi‑channel campaign delivery: Select, manage and optimise channels (digital, paid social, offline) to drive high‑quality leads and maximise performance.
- Ensure compliance & governance: Oversee all campaign activity to meet regulatory standards, embedding compliance, approvals and audit processes from the outset.
- Lead and develop team performance: Manage and coach Marketing Campaign Specialists, fostering collaboration, best practice and high‑quality execution.
- Manage key stakeholder relationships: Build strong partnerships with funeral director firms and collaborate closely with Sales to ensure alignment and shared success.
- Control budgets & drive ROI: Own campaign budgets, allocating spend effectively across channels to optimise performance while maintaining commercial discipline.
- Measure, analyse & optimise performance: Define KPIs, track results via dashboards and analytics, and continuously improve campaigns through a test‑and‑learn approach.
What you’ll need to have:
- Proven experience in a marketing campaign or performance marketing role, preferably in a multi‑partner, B2B2C or regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of social media campaign structures and experience using marketing platforms and tools such as Metta Business Suite and Google Analytics.
- Knowledge of digital marketing best practice.
- Experience managing campaign budgets with a strong focus on ROI and commercial outcomes.
- Proven people management experience, with the ability to lead, coach and empower a small specialist team.
