Ecclesiastical Insurance, part of Benefact Group, seeks a Senior Risk Management Consultant (Health & Safety) for the Southern region. The role involves underwriting, customer support and risk assessment across high net worth, education, care, charity, faith, real estate and commercial sectors. It requires travel across the UK and support for new customer acquisition.
What You\’ll Be Doing
- Risk Assessment & Reporting: Conduct on-site casualty risk appraisals and produce risk survey reports.
- Relationship Building & Collaboration: Work with internal teams and external brokers to support business goals.
- Proposition Development: Enhance the company\’s casualty proposition.
- Training & Thought Leadership: Deliver risk management training and represent Ecclesiastical at workshops and industry events.
- Insight & Knowledge Sharing: Contribute risk intelligence to publications and events.
What You\’ll Need To Have
- Significant experience in health and safety across public, private and third sector organisations.
- Experience undertaking liability surveys, including safeguarding audits for underwriting purposes.
- Chartered Membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH).
- Strong appreciation of the insurance market and commercial interaction between stakeholders.
- A willingness to work outside own comfort zone to support wider business and personal development opportunities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
