Are you passionate about precision, technology, and working on world-class infrastructure? ECC Group is building the future of engineering across Europe — and we’re looking for Site Surveying Engineers to join our team in London on a current contract.

This Contract role centres around Quality Inspections, Progress Capture, and Setting Out for construction installations across Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) and Civil, Structural & Architectural (CSA) disciplines — all enhanced through the use of cutting-edge Augmented Reality (AR) via an integrated VR headset system.

As a Site Surveying Engineer, you’ll be using immersive VR headset technology to visualise BIM models in real time, identifying clashes and discrepancies before they become costly errors. You’ll work alongside contractors on-site, supporting high-spec data centre and mission-critical builds across Europe. You could be deployed long-term on flagship projects or as a specialist resource during setup, commissioning, or peak activity phases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily inspections using AR / MR headset technology to verify installation accuracy against BIM models.
  • Operate Robotic Total Station and manage on-site control networks.
  • Produce daily inspection reports with visual documentation.
  • Collaborate with contractors to coordinate site activities.
  • Maintain inspection scheduling aligned with project programme milestones.
  • Prepare and export approved Revit models for integration with AR systems.
  • Ensure data accuracy and report effectively to the Management team.
What You’ll Bring
  • A background in land surveying, engineering, or construction management (degree or equivalent).
  • Experience using Total Stations in a site setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to preventing rework.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Familiarity with Revit, Navisworks, or BIM 360 is a plus.
  • Enthusiasm for innovation, technology and pushing the boundaries of engineering.
  • Right to work within the UK (no visa sponsorship available).

Why Join ECC?

  • Be part of major, multimillion-euro construction projects across Europe.
  • Work at the forefront of digital engineering and AR-enabled inspections.
