Overview A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Associate or Counsel to join the highly regarded London disputes practice of a leading US law firm.
The team is deliberately lean and entrepreneurial, providing exceptional exposure to high-quality, complex matters while offering the responsibility and client access that comes with working in a compact, high-performing practice.
The successful candidate will advise on a diverse range of contentious matters, including financial services and commercial litigation, insolvency disputes, fraud, offshore trusts disputes, and selected cross-border disputes.
The Role You will play a leading role on sophisticated, high-value litigation matters, working closely with partners and taking significant responsibility for client relationships, case strategy, and the day-to-day management of complex disputes.
Candidate Profile Applicants should have: 6+ years' post-qualification experience gained in the London legal market.
Common law qualified lawyer Strong experience in commercial litigation, with litigation forming the core of your practice (rather than international arbitration).
Experience acting for funds or investment management clients, which would be advantageous.
Proven client-facing experience and a track record of acting as the lead associate on complex matters.
Excellent technical ability, commercial judgment, and strong relationship management skills.
