p We are working with a leading international law firm on an exciting opportunity for a strong junior to mid-level lawyer /strong to join its highly regarded strong Real Estate Finance team in London /strong . /p p The team advises major financial institutions, private equity investors, alternative lenders, real estate investors and developers on a broad range of sophisticated real estate finance transactions, both domestically and cross-border. /p p br /p p strong The Role /strong /p p You will work closely with senior lawyers and clients on a varied and high-quality caseload, including: /p ul li Acquisition and development finance /li li Investment and portfolio financing /li li Senior and mezzanine debt /li li Refinancing and restructuring transactions /li li Real estate-backed corporate and leveraged finance /li li Loan-on-loan and fund financing /li li Cross-border real estate finance matters /li li Security, intercreditor and associated corporate documentation /li /ul p The role offers excellent exposure to sophisticated transactions and the opportunity to work with market-leading clients across the banking and real estate sectors. /p p br /p p strong The Candidate /strong /p p We are looking for a strong UK-qualified lawyer, or an equivalent common-law qualified lawyer /strong , with approximately strong 1–5 years PQE /strong and experience in real estate finance, banking finance or a closely related practice. /p p You will ideally have: /p ul li Strong technical legal skills and a solid grounding in finance documentation /li li Experience working on real estate finance transactions, ideally acting for lenders and/or borrowers /li li Excellent drafting and negotiation skills /li li The ability to manage matters effectively and work to demanding deadlines /li li Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail /li li Excellent communication and interpersonal skills /li li An enthusiasm for working collaboratively in a high-performing international team /li /ul p Candidates from a broader banking finance background who have a genuine interest in developing a career in real estate finance will also be considered. /p p br /p p strong The Opportunity /strong /p p This is an excellent opportunity to join a strong market-leading international platform /strong with a strong reputation in real estate and finance.
